Here is a little gem that I've come to love. Flores is a very, very small Indonesian island. Very little coffee is produced there due to the lack if size. It's a very smooth coffee with a unique, tobacco-like flavor. Medium acidity and pleasant, lingering aftertaste. You must try it if you're a fan of Sumatra, Sulawesi or Java.

This is not our usual (and very good) Sumatran. This is a new lot that just arrived. It was selected due to its traditional "old school" flavor characteristics. Full-bodied, lots of depth, layers of tobacco and leather, soft acidity. It's over-the-top good stuff.

Very dark and bittersweet. The typical 'earthy' flavor of Sumatra coffee is muted a bit by the dark roast. Touch of tobacco in the aftertaste. Very full body...a heavyweight coffee.
